Tecsun H-501x

The Tecsun H-501x is a world receiver that covers the LW, MW and SW bands and is also suitable for the SSB band. The Tecsun H-501x is a European version and has the correct European frequency bands. This H-501X is also CE certified.

The large LCD screen makes information on this receiver easy to read in all lighting conditions and the two speakers on the front provide the Tecsun H501x with high-quality audio playback. Also not unimportant, the Tecsun H-501x can store up to 3150 radio frequencies in 25 memory pages. In addition, the n H-501x ensures optimal reception with the selected bandwidths for both AM and SSB modes.

Hidden Bluetooth function on the Tecsun H-501x

Just like the PL-990x, the Tecsun H-501x has a Bluetooth function that can be activated and deactivated by pressing and holding the Radio/MP3 button.

This new Tecsun H-501x world receiver has seven channel selection methods:

1. Automatic Search and Save (ATS)
2. manual search for pre-stored channels (VM)
3. manual search for channel frequency (VF)
4. Direct input of frequency numbers
5. Direct entry of pre-stored transmitter address numbers

Control buttons Tecsun H-501x

At the source on the Tecsun H-501x are the Volume, Treble and Bass buttons, all of these buttons have a dot to indicate where the maximum/minimum range is located. On the bottom left side there is a micro USB port with which you can use the receiver, for example, as a computer speaker.

On the magnification top of the Tecsun H-501x you will find ports for the AM and FM antenna, each with a rubber cap. There is also a sensitivity slider with three positions for local, normal and DX modes. The buttons on the right front are (AM) sensitivity selection, Main tuning and Fine tuning and the complete right side houses the 5Volt, 1 Amp micro-USB charging port.

At the top of the H-501 radio (above the LCD screen) there is a long button that has the functions: Display, Snooze and Lock

At the very top of the front of the H-501x are the Play/Pause, RR and FF buttons for controlling audio on the Micro-SD card and with waterproof connections for headphones, Line-in and Line-out.

You can activate and deactivate the Bluetooth function by holding down the RADIO/MP3 button for longer than normal.
