Tecsun PL-380

The Tecsun PL-380 is a DSP (Digital Signal Processing) multiband portable world receiver. It uses DSP si4734 microchips (from Silicon Labs from the USA) to digitize the analogue MW/FM/SW broadcasts via modern software technology and radio principles. It improves sensitivity, selectivity, S/N ratio and anti-interference.

The Tecsun PL380 is equipped with Easy Tuning Mode (ETM), Tecsun's own designed tuning method. ETM offers the user the ability to automatically scan for new radio stations, without storing and replacing the stations in the radio's memory. The new stations are temporarily stored in the ETM memory.
