The Tecsun PL-380 is an advanced DSP (Digital Signal Processing) multi-band portable world receiver, designed to digitize analogue MW/FM/SW broadcasts using modern software technology and radio principles. Thanks to the DSP si4734 microchips from US-based Silicon Labs, the PL-380 greatly improves sensitivity, selectivity, signal-to-noise ratio and anti-interference. The device is equipped with the Easy Tuning Mode (ETM), a unique feature from Tecsun that automatically scans new radio stations without overwriting existing stored stations. Stations are temporarily stored in the ETM memory. The PL-380 also offers Auto Tuning Storage (ATS) for FM/MW/LW/SW, jog dial manual tuning, and direct keyboard input for frequencies.

It improves sensitivity, selectivity, S/N ratio and anti-interference.

The Tecsun PL380 is equipped with Easy Tuning Mode (ETM), Tecsun's own designed tuning method. ETM offers the user the ability to automatically scan for new radio stations, without storing and replacing the stations in the radio's memory. The new stations are temporarily stored in the ETM memory.
