The Uniden DC/DC converter cable is designed to safely connect the Oceanus DSC/ATIS, JMC RT-2500 or President MC8000DSC to an ALAN GPS200 (Holux GM200) GPS receiver. This cable converts 13.8V DC to 5V DC, so that the GPS is powered correctly and stably.
The Oceanus DSC/ATIS and President MC8000DSC supply 13.8V via the accessory cable, while the GPS ALAN GPS200 only requires 5V DC. This converter cable ensures a safe and reliable power supply without risk of damage to the GPS receiver.
