Yaesu FT-65E

The Yaesu FT-65E is a very compact and robust portable VHF/UHF transceiver with three selectable power settings: 5W, 2.5W and 0.5W, allowing each user to select the power they need. The Yaesu FT-65E has a large front speaker that delivers no less than 1 Watt of crisp, clear sound quality.

This Yaesu FT-65E comes with a 1950 mAh Li-ion battery that can work for more than 9 hours and with the optionally available 2500 mAh Li-ion battery with a higher capacity, you can expect more than 11.5 hours of operating time. A 3.5-hour fast charger is included as standard, making the Yaesu FT-65E ready to use at any time. The newly designed large LED display is vibrant and easy to read.

The user can program four (4) Quick Recall Keys (QRK) on the Yaesu FT-65E to immediately recall favorite channels at the touch of a button. The VOX control is available with the optional earphone microphone (Yaesu SSM-512B)

Furthermore, the Yaesu FT-65E has useful functions and versatile scanning options such as programmable VFO scan, memory scan, priority channel scan and weather warning scan, WX channels with "severe weather" warning, PC programming, transceiver-to-transceiver cloning, FM broadcast receiver, automatic Range Transponder System (ARTS), CTCSS/DCS operation, Busy Channel Lockout (BLCO), Automatic Power Off function and Transmitter Time Out Timer (TOT)

QRK (Quick Call Key)

Four dedicated user-programmable keys serve as shortcuts for preferred menu options, or use the four dedicated call keys to quickly and easily store and recall desired frequencies.

Versatile scanning options

Programmable VFO scan scans all channels in the desired frequency range, memory scan allows scanning of user selectable frequencies, priority channel scan can be used to scan memory channels while prioritizing one channel. Weather Alert scan alerts the user when severe weather is approaching.

PC programmable

The Yaesu FT-65R can be programmed directly from a PC, making all advanced installation functions a breeze using the optional software and SCU-35 programming cable.
