The new Yaesu FTM-3100E is a robustly built yet compact VHF-FM mobile transceiver, delivering high output power up to 65 Watts to ensure stable long-distance communications. One of the distinguishing features of this exciting new mobile transceiver is the front panel speaker that delivers 3 Watts of loud and crystal clear sound; designed for stress-free and enjoyable communication even in noisy environments.
This mobile UHF/VHF transceiver is equipped with a robust heat sink with an exceptional FACC; funnel air convection guide (wind tunnel). The FACC collects cool air through a wide open air intake at the front and concentrates the airflow to the critical power amplifier area which is drawn in by a cooling fan at the rear.

Cloning: The FTM-3100E features a convenient “Clone” function, which allows memory and configuration data from one transceiver to be transferred to another FTM-3100E - Band Edge Beeper: The FTM-3100E automatically beeps when the receiver band edge is encountered during scanning (either during standard VFO scanning or during PMS use).
- Auto Power Off (APO): This “Auto Power Off” (APO) feature turns the radio off completely after a user-defined period of PTT or key/button inactivity.
- Busy Channel Lock-Out (BCLO): The BCLO feature prevents the radio's transmitter from activating when a signal strong enough to break the “noise” squelch is present.
- MIC Gain: Factory programmed microphone gain should be sufficient for the included MH-48 A6J microphone.
