The Yaesu FTM-510DE ASP is an advanced dual-band mobile transceiver with powerful transmit and receive capabilities. This model builds on the successful FTM-500DE, but is equipped with the new super-DX function and the ASP (Audio Digital Signal Processor Unit) for improved communication, even with weak signals.

Super-DX and ASP – optimal reception and audio quality
The super-DX function increases the receiver's sensitivity, allowing it to pick up weak signals more clearly. In FM analog mode, this function can be combined with ASP, which uses digital signal processing to suppress noise and provide a clear audio experience. The A SP AUTO mode automatically switches on when the transceiver detects a weak signal, allowing conversations to be heard more clearly.
PMG - Always insight into the most important frequencies
The PMG function allows up to five VFO or memory channel frequencies to be stored and monitored in real time. The color system in the PMG display makes it easy to distinguish active and inactive signals:

The FTM-510DE ASP introduces a new AUTO and MANUAL mode for PMG , allowing simultaneous reception of multiple channels and automatic or manual transmission settings.
MAG – Next-level memory management
In addition to standard band-dependent memory groups, the FTM-510DE ASP introduces the “My Group” function. This allows favorite memories from different bands to be easily grouped for faster access.
Compatibility and extensions
For users of the FTM-500DE, enhanced PMG functionality and “My Group” will be available via a firmware update (expected in February 2025). The FTM-510DE ASP does not have a built-in Bluetooth® unit, but can be expanded with the optional BU-5 Bluetooth® module for hands-free communication with the SSM-BT20 or other compatible Bluetooth® devices.
