What makes the Yaesu FTM-6000E so special?

The 50 Watt VHF/UHF Dualband FM mobile transceiver is easy to operate thanks to the Easy To Operate III (E2O-III) system. This mobile transceiver is packed with basic features. The E2O-III system offers three intuitive operating modes for the user to assign functions and settings:

1. The most commonly used function can be registered to the "F1" key and then called up with a single press of the "F1" key.
2. Other frequently used functions can be assigned to a function list and then called up by simply pressing the "F Menu" key and turning the rotary knob.
3. All functions and items except those registered to 'Most frequent' or 'Other frequent' can be selected by pressing and holding the 'F Menu' key and turning the rotary knob.

Up to 5 channels can be registered in PMG (Primary Memory Group). Frequently used PMG frequencies can be shown on an easily distinguishable display by simply pressing the "PMG" key.

50 Watts stable power

The FTM-6000E delivers a stable and reliable 50W RF output power. The FTM-6000E is also equipped with a heavy-duty heat sink with our exclusive FACC (Funnel Air-Convection Conductor – Wind Tunnel).

Bluetooth

The Yaesu FTM-6000E supports optional Bluetooth® wireless control using the SSM-BT10 headset or a commercially available Bluetooth® headset.

• Memory Auto Grouping (MAG): Memory channels can be easily grouped and recalled by band. Each time the [BAND grp] key is pressed in memory mode, the bands are switched in the order shown below.
• Primary Memory Group (PMG): Frequently used frequencies registered in PMG can be displayed simply by pressing the [PMG pw] key
• Digital Code Squelch (DCS): The DCS (Digital Coded Squelch) function ensures that audio is only audible when signals with the corresponding DCS code are received.
• PAGER (EPCS): This feature allows calling only certain stations by using a pager code that combines two CTCSS tones.
• Automatic Range Transponder System (ARTS): The ARTS feature uses DCS signaling to notify both parties when you and another ARTS-equipped station are within communications range.
