The WIRES-X HRI-200 supports both traditional analogue FM and C4FM digital communications. This allows analogue FM users to communicate with each other and connect to digital stations at the same time, creating a bridge between different technologies.

Group Mode allows for the easy registration of multiple users, nodes and rooms. This makes it easy to keep a fixed group of operators together and in contact. The WIRES-X software also provides real-time status updates of members within the network.
