The RM KL-703 linear amplifier is designed for superior performance and reliability, with additional safety features to protect your equipment. With an integrated 15 Volt 60 Amp power supply unit, this amplifier offers protection against overvoltage, overload and overheating. The large heatsink and two 120 mm fans ensure efficient cooling, even during long transmissions, and operate very quietly.
This amplifier features three internal temperature sensors that accurately monitor the temperature of the transistors, heat sink and ambient air. Three user-selectable power levels, similar to the RM KL703, allow you to attenuate the input while limiting the input power to no more than 30 watts. The amplifier automatically switches back to standby if this level is exceeded.
CAUTION: Protection circuits are not 100% guaranteed. To avoid damage to your amplifier, always check your VSWR after changing bands, avoid hot circuits and excessive input.
