The Grazioli FE10V is a 5/8-wave antenna for the 10m and 11m band, designed by the Italian brand Grazioli. This antenna combines extreme robustness with high performance, ideal for those who require high power and a low beam angle. With a power of 5000W (CW) continuous all-mode, the FE10V offers unique features that are difficult to find in other antennas on the market.

Material and construction

The FE10V is made of a high quality aluminum, magnesium and silicon alloy called AW6063-T66, which provides exceptional resistance by extrusion and cold drawing. The precision tube elements provide a precise connection with minimal play. The base consists of four strong telescopic "Full-Quarter Wave" radials of 270 cm each, fixed with sturdy clamps and U-bolts.

High "Q" coil

The coil plays a crucial role in impedance matching and maximum RF transmission. The high-quality construction with an L/D ratio of 1.3 and widely spaced coils provides a Q value of approximately 2500 at 28 MHz, which contributes to maximum efficiency and high RF power.

UHF connector

The specially designed Grazioli connector has a real impedance of 50 Ohm and can be used up to 500 MHz. The body is made of nickel-plated CW614N brass with a 24K gold-plated pin to prevent oxidation. The insulating part is made of PTFE, known for its excellent electrical and thermal properties.

Anchor bracket

The supplied anchor bracket is manufactured from 2.5mm thick AII1304 stainless steel and provides a very robust mechanical block when attached to the antenna mast.

RESONANT "Full-Quarter Wave"

Electromagnetic simulations show that this ground plane provides superior performance, especially in terms of the horizontal angle of maximum radiation, allowing significant improvements for long-distance DX links.
